Dehumanization can be defined as the deprivation of an individual's control over their particular actions and stripping all of them of their simple human rights and characteristics. The act of dehumanization transpired in the 1800s once amputation, abuse, and other raw means of consequence became a way to control slaves, leaving physical and physiological trauma upon both the slave and the slaveholder. The relationship from the master and the slave is criticized and questioned regularly as it is the two wrong and unjust in society.
