Driven by dread and strengthened by instinct, Sanger Rainsford fights valiantly, in Richard Connell's " The Most Risky Game, " to ideal General Zaroff at his own video game. Although rather undeveloped, the characters inside the story continue to give the audience something to get in touch to. The theme, although presented in a unique fashion, depicts yet another reiteration of the epic have difficulty between great and wicked. Regardless of the handful of twists and turns, Connell's use of storyline manipulation nonetheless leaves room for a great deal of excitement inside the story. By first examining then combining Connell's use of plan, characters, and theme, anybody can see the obvious escapism in " The Most Dangerous Game. "

Besides the beginning, Connell's use of story manipulation would not stand out. Connell first uses a highly unlikely event to create the basis to get his tale. The events in this article do so towards a more or significantly less believable and orderly manner. One can see the prime case when, after learning of Zaroff's well bearded hobby, Rainsford finds himself the food. Even though Connell's uses delicate plot manipulation, the story will not suffer from deficiency of excitement and intrigue.

Because of the short entire text, the characters of Zaroff and Rainsford seem to be rather undeveloped. Zaroff portrays the cool, methodical, and ruthless hunter; his decision to prolong the game each day does not complement this. Rainsford begins the storyplot with a mind set that follows closely to that of Zaroff, although by the end, his point of view has taken a complete reversal. Though extenuating circumstances conveniently explain Rainsford's change in disposition, Zaroff's will not seem to possess a logical reason. Although Connell's characters indulge the reader they will point to a primary focus other than themselves.
